Prescription Drugs
The cost of prescription drugs continues to be a topic of concern and confusion for many adults. The Washington State Prescription Drug Program has developed several ways to ensure Washington State residents have access to information, programs, and ways to save money on Prescription Drugs, including:
- Rx discount cards.
- An on-line tool to search pharmacies to find the lowest cash prices for prescription drugs.
- Prescription drugs purchased through partnerships with larger groups.
- Access to Canadian pharmacies.
AARP has developed an on-line consumer guide where you can learn more about a variety of different drugs, their effectiveness, and compare prices.
