Mandated Reporting Guidelines

Dear Nursing Facility/Home Administrator:

This letter replaces AASA: NH #2001-015, dated July 23, 2001.

The Nursing Home Guidelines (aka “The Purple Book”) has been revised. For your convenience, a link to the guidelines is available on the ADSA Nursing Home professional page at http://www.aasa.dshs.wa.gov/professional/nh.htm.

Please print copies for your staff.

The requirements have not changed. However, some references were outdated, and based upon comments from providers and our staff some revisions were made to reorganize the material and to clarify issues.
