RCS STAFFING CHANGES

Dear Nursing Facility/Home Administrator:

This letter will announce changes in the management staff within Residential Care Services (RCS), effective February 7, 2005.

Joyce Pashley Stockwell has been appointed Acting Director of Residential Care Services. Ms. Stockwell has been the Assistant Director in RCS and in that position, has been in charge of field operations including the licensing, certification, and complaint investigation functions in all long term care licensed residential services. She can be reached at (360) 725-2401.

Pat Bossert, currently the RCS Regional Administrator for Region 6, will assume the duties of Acting Assistant Director. Ms. Bossert has worked in long term care for many years and will be a familiar face to many of you. She can be reached at (360) 725-2404.

This state is very fortunate to have providers, families, advocates, residents, and state staff working together to build strong industries, comfortable homes, and quality services for residents. I appreciate the opportunity to have been a part of that effort.
