SUBJECT: WORKSHOPS FOR BOARDING HOME INSTRUCTORS USING THE REVISED DSHS
FUNDAMENTALS OF CAREGIVING CURRICULUM
Dear Boarding Home Provider:
Several Fundamentals of Caregiving Instructor Workshops have been scheduled across the state for qualified instructors from Boarding Homes who will be using the Revised DSHS Fundamentals of Caregiving curriculum for their facility-based training.
The one-day workshop will give instructors valuable information and tips on how to teach and utilize the curriculum and the accompanying materials. The workshop uses interactive methods and is more effective if the audience is kept to a reasonable number. Please register one qualified instructor, and one alternate if you have more than one qualified instructor, per licensee. The maximum number of slots available per workshop is 35.
You may register in one of two ways: either by fax at 360-725-2646, or on-line at www.pware.com/2697. If registering on-line, please complete all items listed in red. Information regarding dates and locations is available on-line.
Please register as soon as possible and no later than one week prior to the workshop. Include your fax number on your registration, as we will fax you a confirmation letter and directions to the workshop site.
If you have questions regarding this workshop, please contact:
