AASA: AFH #2002-002SUBJECT:? Provider letters now available online
Dear Adult Family Home Provider:
In our continued commitment to communicate efficiently with our licensed providers, Residential Care Services is pleased to announce the availability of ?Dear Provider? letters on the Internet.
You now can view these letters from January 2001 to present online at www.aasa.dshs.wa.gov.? To access the letters:
- Scroll down the left hand column until you locate the ?Professional? section
- Click on ?Residential Care?
- Scroll to the respective setting (Adult Family Homes) under Residential Care Information??
- Select the link to provider letters (AFH 2001 or 2002 ?Dear Provider? Letters)
- This will take you to the index for the year.
- In the left hand column, click on the number of the letter you wish to view or print.
Some, but not all, enclosures to these letters are available electronically at this time.?
There are no plans at this time to eliminate hard copy distribution; however, there is considerable cost savings in the use of electronic distribution and the department will continue to move towards increased use of online communications.? You can expect to continue to receive current letters by mail, but can now enjoy the convenience of accessing letters online.? All letters from this point forward will be posted online as they are issued.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact Clare Buckingham, RCS Communications Program Manager, at (360) 725-2407.
Sincerely,
Patricia K. Lashway, Director
