SUBJECT: FAIR HEARING TRAINING
Fair hearing training is being planned for March and April 2001. This training is limited to AAA fair hearing coordinators and HCS social services and financial services fair hearing coordinators. The only additional staff that must attend is a supervisor or program manager from Adult Protective Services (APS). There are an increasing number of fair hearings that include involvement of APS and APS issues/findings.
Three, two and one half day sessions are currently scheduled, and space is limited to twenty-four persons per session. The schedule is as follows:
March 19, 20, and 21 (1/2 day on the 21ST) AASA, Lacey
April 17, 18, and 19 (1/2 day on the 19th) AASA, Lacey
May 8, 9, and 10 (1/2 day on the 10th) HCS, Spokane
