TO VENDOR RATE INCREASES EFFECTIVE
JULY 1, 2001, AND SEPTEMBER 1, 2001
You received an ADDENDUM TO MB-AASA-AAA/HCS/DDD/RCS-01-03;
MANAGEMENT BULLETIN dated July 20, 2001.
An attachment containing six pages of July 1, 2001, Home and Community
Services Rates by SSPS Service Code was attached for your information and
use. There have been updates made to
that attachment since that publication was released. The purpose of this MANAGEMENT BULLETIN is to provide you with
those changes included in a new schedule of rates for the effective date of
July 1, 2001.
The following Nurse Delegation codes (MMIS) are to
be discontinued as of August 31, 2001, and new SSPS codes are to be used
beginning with September 1, 2001 payments.

Another change since the
publication of MB-AASA-AAA/HCS/DDD/RCS-01-23 is the inclusion of Island County (#15) in the
Metropolitan Counties Service Area. This
will require changes to assign rates associated with Metropolitan
Counties. Region 3 will need to close all open authorizations under the
Non-Metropolitan County Service Area and open a new authorization using the
Metropolitan County Service Area.
