2008 Continuing Education for licensed Nursing Home Administrators
The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) licenses nursing home administrators.

WAC 246-843-130(4) requires that nursing home administrators attend an approved course on laws relating to nursing homes in Washington, within 180 days of becoming licensed.
The Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) licenses nursing homes in the state of Washington. DOH has coordinated with DSHS Residential Care Services to provide a one-day state law course that meets the WAC 246-843-130(4) requirements.
If you are a newly licensed nursing home administrator, or currently participating in the DOH “Administrator-in-Training” (AIT) program, you may register for one of the following sessions:
- April 10, 2008
- August 14, 2008
- December 11, 2008
Another date may be added depending on interest.
