As you may know, we have been working with a stakeholder group for the past several months on the revision of WAC chapter 388-98, Nursing Home Licensure Program Administration.? The revised chapter will become part of WAC chapter 388-97, Nursing Homes, as subchapter IV.?
Enclosed you will find the draft amendments to WAC chapter 388-97, including subchapter IV.? Please review these draft amendments and send comments by November 19, 2001 to:

Please note that the enclosed amendments are draft only; the current nursing home rules remain in effect.? After we receive your comments on the draft, the next step in the rules development process will be to file proposed rules with the code reviser.? When proposed rules are filed, we will send you a copy, and you will again have an opportunity to comment.?
