Dear Nursing Home Administrator:
In September 2000, Residential Care Services (RCS) underwent a change that redefined geographical boundaries throughout the entire State and reconfigured the organizational structure of staff representing RCS in the field.? These changes have allowed us to serve residents and providers in all three programs, nursing homes, boarding homes, and adult family homes, from six regional offices.
On the back of this letter is a ?functional organization chart? which gives details describing the program functions that staff are responsible for and to whom they report.? Enclosed is a contact list for the six regional offices and headquarters staff.? In the near future, this information will also be available on the Aging and Disability Services Administration (AASA) web page at www.aasa.dshs.wa.gov.
Hopefully this information will simplify contacting your local office to communicate information, ask questions and get information, as well as resolve any issues you may have.
