CORRECTION OF TYPOGRAPHICAL ERROR IN
WAC 388-78A-2480 TUBERCULOSIS (tb) TESTING
Dear Boarding Home Provider:
The Department has amended WAC 388-78A-2480 (Tuberculosis testing) to correct a typographical error in the numbering of its subsections. There have been two subsections with the same citation number-(1)(d). Renumbering will eliminate potential confusion for referencing the appropriate subsection.
The department has completed the rule-making process and adopted the amendment effective January 4, 2007.
WAC subsection 2480 will include:
- (1)(d) A staff person does not need to be skin tested for tuberculosis if; and
- (1)(e) If a skin test results in a positive reaction
No other changes have been made to chapter 388-78A WAC during this process.
The rule making order (CR-103) is available for review now at the Office of the Code Reviser website and is published in the Washington State Register (06-27-073).
Thank you for your continued commitment to the boarding home residents in the state of Washington.
Sincerely,
Joyce Pashley Stockwell, Director
Residential Care Services
